Take it to the beach, or take the beach with you! This ceramic travel mug evokes ocean waves flowing in shades of dark cerulean and sky blue with a swirl of white. The permanent lid (no more loose drips or lost parts) has a repeating pattern of waves pressed into the clay. The texture is smooth and easy to clean. The handle is wide enough to hook a finger or two in with a thumb rest for added balance. The sip opening is wide enough for a reusable straw but a straw is not necessary. The mug is cylindrical by design with a rimmed base for stability, so it might not fit in all car cupholders. It is extremely hard to tip over with regular use though!
Holds 16 liquid ounces.
A note on cleaning:
With the half moon lid I find it is easier to wash with a handle brush. It is dishwasher safe, though not all dishwashers will be able to work around the lid feature. Use your best judgement.
Completely food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe. Always lead free.
